In 2010, the American Constitution Society organized a video contest about the importance of an independent judiciary.  My video ”The Battlefield of History” won second prize.

Well done, and congrats on being a prize winner. I’m sorry we’ve lost touch but happy to see you are still the art lover you were twenty years ago.

  3. I didn’t know the Poons painting – how perfect a balance to the gravestones. I like the thoughts about dedication, and your being dedicated to the work you do – indeed, you are still fighting this battle. And how particularly prescient with our new candidate attacking the Civil Rights Act that we thought was safely set in history.

Informative, educational, and I particularly liked how you “connected the dots” of the painting to the image of the graveyard.

  5. Another wonderful piece with much to think about and visuals to enjoy.

You, or your blog followers might find this out of print photo book of interest:
“Lee Friedlander: The American Monument”. Check your local library.
